Project start: Bicycle tyre recycling

In the new cooperation project, Pyrum Innovations AG together with Schwalbe and the Technical University of Cologne are developing a raw material recycling concept to return used bicycle tyres to the manufacturing process in the sense of a closed-loop economy. In contrast to used car and truck tyres, bicycle tyres are almost exclusively disposed of as residual waste. This means that several tonnes of precious resources are lost every day. We want to counteract this loss together in the spirit of sustainability.
