Yesterday, following the positive progress of the commissioning of TAD 2, the third reactor was heated up for the first time. In the course of this, the new reactor was heated to a&nbsp;temperature of around 650\u00b0C for the first&nbsp;time.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The findings from the commissioning of TAD 2&nbsp;to date have been fully applied to TAD 3. In recent weeks, additional minor adjustments have been made on this basis, which have contributed to a&nbsp;smooth start of the new reactor. After the reactor has cooled down and final preparatory work has been carried out this weekend, the first warm run with the production of thermolysis oil and rCB is scheduled for next week. The aim is to then also ramp up the throughput of TAD 3&nbsp;to 75 to 80% of the target performance within a&nbsp;few start-\u200bup runs. Within the next six to twelve months, TAD 2&nbsp;and TAD 3&nbsp;are then to be successively ramped up to full capacity utilisation of&nbsp;100%.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Pascal Klein, CEO of Pyrum Innovations AG: \u2018We are proud to soon be able to exploit the full potential of our thermolysis technology. The insights gained from the commissioning of TAD 2&nbsp;enabled us to make minor optimisations before the start of TAD 3, which led to a&nbsp;smooth first warm run of TAD 3. With the first warm start of the last reactor, we are now on the home straight of our expansion of standing orders at our main plant in Dillingen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the final commissioning of the power generation from the thermolysis gas produced in-\u200bhouse is scheduled for the next few weeks.
