According to the Fraunhofer Institute, CO\u2082 savings amount to 965 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;equivalent per tonne of used tyres \u2013 significantly above the previous industry average. Its customers and partners include BASF, Continental, Schwalbe, Michelin, Mercedes-\u200bBenz, Remondis and Suez.
