Since 2008, Pyrum Innovations AG has been developing and operating technologies for the recovery of raw materials from end-of-life tires. Using its proprietary thermolysis technology, end-of-life tires are thermally decomposed under exclusion of oxygen. This process yields, among other things, ThermoTireOil® and ThermoTireBlack®, which are used by industrial partners as secondary raw materials in various applications.
This allows components from end-of-life tires to be industrially reused. ThermoTireOil® is REACH-registered; ThermoTireOil® and ThermoTireBlack® are ISCC PLUS certified.
