Pyrum Innovations AG is one of the leading patented thermolysis technology in the growing Recycling market for used tyres active. The thermolysis process we have developed is energy self-​sufficient and, according to the Fraunhofer Institute, saves significantly more CO₂-emissions than conventional recycling processes for used tyres and produces new, valuable secondary raw materials from the rubber waste, such as Thermolysis oilgas and recycled carbon black (recovered Carbon Black – rCB).

In this way, Pyrum closes the recycling loop, pursues a sustainable business model and is recognised at European level. Pioneer in environmental protection. Back in 2018, Pyrum Innovations AG was the first company in the Waste tyre recyclingwhich REACH registration of the European Chemicals Agency ECHA for the thermolysis oil produced.

This means that the thermolysis oil is Official raw material which can be used in production processes. In addition, Pyrum has been recognised for the thermolysis oil and the rCB. ISCC PLUS certification preserved. Both products are therefore considered sustainable and renewable raw materials.

These successes have also been recognised by international experts in the tyre industry. At the first Recircle Awards, Pyrum was honoured in the category Best Tyre Recycling Innovation honoured and for the great Prize of the middle class nominated by the federal state of Saarland.
